The Hope Prize 2024. The work of the hope prize is conducted across naarm (melbourne), on the lands of the wurundjeri and boonwurrung people. The hope prize, is calling for submissions on the themes of hope, courage and resilience from all over the world.

The winner receives $10,000 aud generously awarded by @simonschusterau, second place. John merkel has won the 2024 hope prize, presented by simon & schuster australia (s&s), for the story ‘shadows cast by the moon’.
